What if You Agreed about all the Money?Money is the toughest discussion in any relationship. It is complicated, confusing to talk about, and often frustrating. However, a couple who can figure it out, get on the same page, and create a team effort, will become the most successful couple in the world. Master money, and master the art of love and marriage. This five-week program is for couples who disagree about money. It is one of the only program we offer for couples to take together. In this program, both of you will be on the phone. The Program will take several steps in the search for answers as a team. Step 1: Your Individual InterestsWhat are the core principles that drive your individual behaviors? What is underneath those decisions? You will discover that each of you have habits that express certain roles in the relationship. One role might be making sure you have fun together. Another role might be taking care you both in retirement. These roles, undistinguished, will create arguments. If you know why they want this or that, you can address the priorities of certain needs in the relationship, and work it out. Step 2: Create Minimum StandardsThere are wants... and there are needs. In this step, you will each communicate your "walk away" needs. These are the financial actions that must be in place in order for you to be okay. These bare minimum standards are the best place to know that the relationship will stay healthy for the long-term, and that it will grow and blossom. Step 3: Create a BudgetAll great teams have plans. A budget is just a plan. The point isn't to allocate every dollar, and create a jail cell for life. The point of a budget is as a simple, effective communication tool for getting along better. The budget creates agreement. Step 4: Create ConsequencesWhen irreconcilable behaviors happen on great teams, there are consequences. Too often, you don't implement consequences because you "love" them. In this step, you brainstorm creative, healthy and effective ways to change both your behaviors for the better. This Program Includes:
